Katherine holds the Mountain Instructor Award, which means she is qualified to teach rock climbing on any rock in the UK; single or multi pitch.  It also means she is legally able to take young people outside climbing without the need for parents to be present.

"Your help has been exactly what I needed Katherine. I was at a point where I really didn't know what to do next, but your clear, succinct advice has cleared the "fog" my head regarding where my climbing is going. I really enjoyed yesterday - your relaxed approach made it great fun." Susan, Blackburn

Based in Sheffield Katherine's nearest crags are the Peak and for walls, the Edge, Climbing Works and Foundry. These venues provide an excellent basis for coaching but she is willing to travel to you and your wall or crag.

Included in the price is full written feedback about what we cover in the session and areas to work on.

"Katherine is an exceptional climbing coach with a broad spectrum of knowledge, but more than that she is a real climber who understands people's weaknesses and strengths and can communicate on a personal level. With any coaching a professional but relaxed approach is essential and Kath delivers this with ease."  Steve McClure, co-coach: Turkey and Kalymnos holidays
